The 46th edition of Winterlude will be a “sustainable” event with a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, that shifts the focus away from the Rideau Canal Skateway and the condition of the ice.
To illustrate some of those activities, lively performances by Indigenous dancers, a breakdancing crew and a drag queen were showcased Wednesday at the National Arts Centre’s Fourth Stage, building the buzz for this year’s Winterlude, which runs from Feb. 2 to 19.
